Wynk Lime Cranberry Mocktail Recipe
Jump to Recipe
I’ve been on a mocktail kick lately! Ok, 2+ years making daily zero proof cocktails might be more than a kick, now that I think about it. But, when I discovered how much better I felt drinking less alcohol, my mocktail obsession just grew and grew. Yeah, obsession is probably the right word.
Some days I enjoy mixing together herbs and squeezing fresh citrus juice, and other days I love just drinking from a can. So I’m always stocked up on a variety of zero proof canned drinks. And I’m currently stocked up big time thanks to the folks at Wynk ;). The Wynk Lime is perfect on its own with zesty, fresh lime flavor and a hint of THC and CBD to aid in relaxation, I decided it would be great as a mixer too! So I combined lime juice, cranberry juice, and simple syrup, then topped it all with Lime flavored Wynk.
What is the mocktail?
This recipe can act as a base for you if you’re a Wynk fan. Substitute other juices like apple juice, orange juice, pomegranate juice, or grapefruit juice paired with your favorite Wynk Seltzer flavor with the freshly squeezed lime juice and simple syrup. Try out a few and see what your favorite combo is!
How to mocktail?
Unlike a cocktail, a mocktail doesn’t have any particular formula. Because, afterall, what is mocktail? In my opinion, it’s simply a drink you enjoy that doesn’t contain any alcohol. But, for far too long us alcohol-free folks were stuck with sprites or cokes as our only options. Now, mocktail recipes are more elevated and include fresh ingredients like citrus juices, fresh herbs, fresh ginger, simple syrups, and even sometimes apple cider vinegar. Mocktail drinkers deserve complex and interesting flavors. That’s one reason I’m so excited about the latest trend of ready-to-drink non-alsoholic drinks like the Wynk I used in this cranberry mocktail recipe.
What is the basic mocktail formula?
So, back to the question, what is the basic mocktail formula? I guess I like to have something a little sweet, something a little sour, and something bubbly for my ideal mocktail. And that’s exactly what this drink delivers.
